Do not hire Barbara Bell for divorce or custody especially if you have young children. There was not a single thing she did that was in my best interest or that of my child and at times she was more helpful to my ex than myself. The courts don't always care about the kids but my lawyer should have. The visitation schedule I ended up with was extremely traumatic for my under four child. She did not come to mediation prepared or do some of the other standard duties of the divorce process and she was not always honest with me. Hiring her ended up leaving me worse off than if I had done it on my own.
