Weld County Sheriff s Office, oversees several government operations in Weld County, Colo., and is located in Greeley, Colo., home to several of the United States largest meat packing plants. The office oversees animal control, the Weld County Public Safety Bureau, the Weld County Sex Offender Supervision Bureau, concealed weapons permits, the Weld County Office of Emergency Management, the regional crime lab and certain volunteer services. The office makes several arrests per day and shares its crime lab with the City of Greeley. Weld County Sheriff s Office maintains three locations, the largest of which is the Weld County Law Enforcement Building in Greeley. The Southwest County Services Complex is located in Longmont, Colo., and the Ft. Lupton County Services Building is located in Ft. Lupton, Colo.
