Trying to deal with a homelite weed trimmer issue. Took it to HD ... what a joke, spent time on Net etc... tore apart several times but could not figure why the shaft was turning and could not get head off.
Finally took to Dr. Tool service at Bay Verte and a guy named Jim and his staff ... it was almost a miracle, they got the head off, put a better one on and it did not cost me an arm and a leg.... Thanks Jim ... say Hi to your great staff.

*!@#$%*%@! wrong part ordered for my weed wacker. need another model number than what i provided. why did they order without it? now i should pay restocking and freight back. didn't want to see broken part either, shouldn't have ordered with half the info. poor service, rude service. @!#^$%*&!@
Jim called me today 8/18/15 and apologized for the way the issue was handled, I appreciated that. He seemed sincere about what he said and let me know that Bay Verte did not want to lose my business. made me feel better about this scenario that happened. Thanks Jim

Great All Around Store!

My grandfather shopped there, my dad bought his first woodworking machine there, I bought tools there, and now I even work there. Bay Verte has been around for almost 100 years and is not only family owned, but has the ability to match even Amazon's prices. They also have a repair center that can warranty service more brands than any other retailer in the area.



Be critical of the negative reviews you see. Ridgid is not sold at Bay Verte and although they are certified to work on Ridgid, they still have to play by the rules of the manufacturer for warranty work. The "Lifetime Warranty" has to be properly registered and even then, I have heard situations where Ridgid claims to have "lost" the customers warranty. There is a reason Bay Verte does not carry Ridgid.



As far as the selection, Bay Verte carries more electric tools than any other retailer. Unfortunately some items happen to sell out. This can happen anywhere. That does not necessarily warrant 1 out of 5 stars. In most cases, tools can be ordered and received within 1 day.

Nice store and selection until find that their sold out of the tool you want for a job. Go some where else that hopefully has more than one or two tools of any particular model!

Brought my Ridgid "Lifetime Warrenty" Tool in and it took them 1 Week and $18.00 to tell me that I didnt have all the warrenty information. Seems like they could have told me that when I brought it in and saved me the week and the 45 min trip from Oshkosh & $18.00. So I walked out with my dead "Lifetime" Batteries and my Charger & Tool. Will never shop here again!

Expert advice, fair prices and knowledgeable technicians. Provide me an estimate and saved me money over a new tool. Salesmen saved me money on supplies for shop and jobs!! Willing to help me save money would suggest working with them anytime!
