The History
Sarah and Amelia McCormick established McCormick Memorial Home in 1919 in honor of their brother, Michel J. McCormick, founder of Northern Paper Mills. The McCormick sisters dreamed of founding a home for the elderly who wished to spend their retirement years in a quiet, peaceful setting. Their dream came true when the home opened in April 1921. The home has been managed by the Green Bay Catholic Diocese since its opening.
