I went to Polka Dots with pretty high expectations, after all it's advertised as a boutique children's consignment store. To me, boutique means higher end clothing. What I found was Faded Glory (Wal-Mart), Carter, Circo, and Jumping Bean. All of which are decent brands (and on my kids), but again, I was hoping to see more Gap, Children's Place, etc... Also, the other issue I had were the prices. For the brands mentioned above they were charging $3.50-5.00. I can pay those prices on new clothes with a coupon or shopping the clearance racks. While the selection is decent, I was very dissappointed in the quality. I felt like there shouldn't be any clothes with stains, holes, etc... on their racks and found several pieces that were well worn and even had stains and still had a high sticker price. I did like how chil friendly the place was. They provide childrens shopping carts so my 3 yro loved pushing that and the women working was very friendly. In the end, I probably won't go back unless I hear they get better quality clothes.
