Intermodal refers to unloading and delivering cargo that has been imported by ship as well as loading the cargo onto ships products that are being exported. We are always looking for drivers to hire directly as well as hire owner / operators. Direct drivers receive $50K to $60K. Pay is by hub mile, and drivers receive $0.39 per mile, depending on experience, plus hourly pay after 2 hours in the loading dock of $13.00 - $13.50. Pay for owner / operators are 80% of gross plus 100% of fuel surcharge. As a trucking company, having reliable vehicles is crucial to getting the job done.
