Unprofessional and way overpriced! I would give this place 0 stars if I had the option, based on my experience earlier this year. I went to Northwest Urgent Care in Sahuarita back in January with a bad sore throat, hoping to get something to help. After about an hour waiting in the exam room I was seen briefly and was told to just go buy some over the counter meds. The bill was $719.54 for that lovely advice and slow service! Worse yet, the incompetent staff there mis-typed a letter in my home address, and their flaky computer system told them it was a "bad address" and sent it to collections since I never received any bill to pay! (Ha! And I thought maybe they were just too embarrassed to bill me.) Worse yet, the collections company couldn't even properly identify who or where this charge was coming from, and instead gave me hospital names and numbers in Arkansas and Vermont to call when I wanted to verify the collections notice. I spent many days stressed out about identify theft, medical fraud, and more due to their inefficiency! I've been on hold for over 20 min with Northwest Urgent Care's billing office, as they are "overwhelmed" with a large volume of calls this morning. I'm sure I know why, and I sure don't recommend this place to anyone who wants reasonably priced and efficient medical care when they are sick.

UPDATE: After checking with my insurance, I learned that the total charge for that one visit was actually $1,114.90, not the $719.54 that I saw on the EOB (probably the in-network discounted price). DISGRACEFUL!

THE WORST!! I have gone here twice and twice I am billed with a hospital code even though I went to the Urgent Care. So, my insurance covers urgent care 100% with a co-pay but only 80% of hospital visits leaving me with a 250.00 bill? The charges were that much?! For a swab and a Dr. to look at me? I am never going back. I should have learned my lesson the first time.

THE BEST!!!

This was not my first time here, but had never seen these reviews, yes some things are a little pricey, probably because of those that go, don't have insurance and we all pay, but I do have a $50 Co.pay when I go, I've had to go and get hydrated when very ill, but this is about my son, I work full time, he told me Thursday night at 8pm, Mom I think I have an ear infection, Ok tomorrow is Friday, I have to be at work at 9 am, they open at 8am, we were at the door when they opened, I'm not usually pushy but seeing that the lady behind me wth her son was in her pj's I'm assuming she didn't work today, so I just pushed my way in as I was first, I was signed In promptly by a very nice lady, we were seeing the Dr in ten minutes, I was out the door after a very pleasant experience by 8:23, I went to walgreens where Tracey is just the best pharmacist,my son had his scripts on his way home, as be drives, and I was at my desk by 9:03. Only 3 minutes late! and the whole experience was wonderful, did I pay more than I would've at my primary, yes, was it worth it? Yes, these people complaining about the extra fees, some times you have to pay more for " urgent care" if you want to pay less, wait two weeks for your regular Dr, I loved this experience and would pay extra again!! I'm so glad they are there, and I thank you ladies and men for being so extra pleasant first thing in the am, and thanks for the wonderful care for my son!

I had the same problem as the other reviewers. They bill you both a doctor bill and an urgent care bill, so you have to pay 2 co-pays, and their doctor told me they weren't sure if I had a problem, so they recommended I see another doctor. Therefore, I paid $100 for NO SERVICE AT ALL!

If you go here, expect to have billing issues. They frequently bill incorrectly, leaving you the ongoing hassle of getting it straightened out. To top it off, their incompetent doctor completely missed the diagnosis. Definitely worth the drive to Tucson or waiting to see a real doctor.

Incredibly disappointed to have had a family member who needed to use this facility. We were billed an outrageous amount for an urgent care visit and will not be returning nor recommending this service to anyone. Horrible to be charged four times any other urgent care visit to date and the equivalent of an ER visit without notice or warning. It is disheartening that a medical facility would take advantage of those sick individuals seeking support! The least effective way to manage a business based on serving customers is through greed. Wish we had read the reviews prior to using this facility...too bad less than one star isnt an option. Very disgusted with the practice and lack of concern for patients!

Do not go here!!!! They do not advise you that they are going to bill not only as an urgent care facility but a separate charge as a Dr's office visit. We are left with a huge bill AFTER paying the higher urgent care copay!!!!!

This place was by far the worst urgent care. You get treated like a criminal you can't leave since the doors lock without having to talk to the person at the desk. I never go to the doctors unless I am very sick, I had a fever a severe sore throat, headache just completely sick. They did nothing for me but told me to take over the counter medicine. Oh and if I get worse go to the emergency room. Are you kidding me? I am not on access(sp?) I have to actually pay to be going to all theses places and its a crazy amount even with my own insurance. So I suffered for 2 weeks completely sick. I still am coughing stuff up even 3 weeks after. So truth be told I would never recomend this place. More like a joke to bill you an extreme amount.
