I have been living here for 3 years. I would have moved after my first year, but I could not find something affordable at the time. Since then I have gotten a better job and am making more money, but because of a personal matter I am going through, I still cannot move out. This is definitely going to be my last year without a doubt. There have been at least 5 Property Managers cycled through here since I moved in. There is never a familiar face. Very high turnover. Maintenance does not respond to your requests. For example, I had mold growing in my bathtub and it took them over a year to replace it. My toilet was broken and they didn't come out for 2 weeks! Good thing I have a 2/2!! No matter who they hire, the person always seems to be unprofessional, unorganized, and rude. They recently remodeled their entire office, but our gate is still broken! I pay for a gated community, but the gate is never working, they leave it open. Making it very easy for anyone to come and go. Definitely not a safe place to live for children. When my lease was up, I went in 2 months in advance to renew it. They said it wasn't ready and that I would get a call from Laura Defeo when it was. Laura never called me. Laura never emailed me. I got a notice on my door ONE DAY before my lease was up DEMANDING that I come in and sign my lease or I would be subject to my renewal fee DOUBLING! Naturally, I went online to pay my rent the next day and it had not been updated to the new rent so I just paid it. I assumed it would be added to the next month's rent. Well, I got an EVICTION notice on my door over a measly FIFTY DOLLARS!!! Don't waste your time people. Do not move here. DO NOT move to Island Shores. This is a failing business. The property is old and they do not upgrade anything. Instead, they pay for an upgraded office. STAY AWAY.

I live here and had been calling maintenance emergency line for 7+ times I'm 4hours late to work and no one has yet to come out... I saw a lady who work in the office showing a lady an available apartment walked over to her told her my situation She stayed there's nothing she can do she just leases apartment I even made here aware I'm over 3 hours late for work waiting on maintenance To show up ( maintenance cannot be trusted in your apartment alone they have them at several things in my house) she still didn't care just continue to talk to the lady about the available units.... Do not recommend running from this place everybody blames everybody and nobody takes responsibility the front office blames maintenance maintenance blames the front office... And my house is been broken into two times since I lived here

Worse place to live, maintenance is very bad, appliance all damage and old, they paint the building outside but inside is very bad, check your door, fridge, stove and cabinet, wall are patch and you can see, window missing screen enclosed balcony leaking when is raining,
