This place is GREAT! I have my boys birthday parties here and they always have lots of fun. My family loves the cosmic bowling and we also love how they are willing to help out cherities by hosting a fundraiser. I would suggest to anybody who asks me to bowl here.

time warp

Take a journey to the past in this 12-lane house with wooden alleys where you keep score. For open bowling you are handed a paper score sheet and a pencil. They are overhead projectors that one assumes are used for leagues. The only thing that's missing are the pin boys. Don't bring your reactive ball, as it will hook into the next alley. Lanes are lightly oiled if at all. A polyurethane ball will probably work best here.

The only thing modern here is the rate: $3 a game. Like many houses, they pursue the short-sighted policy of not allowing a league rate unless it's for a bowler in one of their own leagues. It's not as thought they have anything invested in modernization. Too bad all houses don't follow a policy of giving a league rate to anyone showing their USBC card.

At this rate I predict it will be a relatively short time before this becomes one of those ghost houses that is torn down with the lament that "nobody from here seems to want to bowl anymore".

These old houses have great charm for bowling tourists who like to try different houses, but not when the price is the highest in the region.
