Ok so I have been a fan of Chicago's pizza for years. It's some of my favorite pizza or was. I'd call it a guilty pleasure. So I ordered a Chicago style or deep dish pizza and for one it was nothing like a Chicago style deep dish pizza. It was like an undercooked doughy pizza. It was drenched in grease and the outside was burnt. The pepperoni was overcooked to the point it looked old and the there was sauce everywhere. There was some cheese on this slice and that slice but some had none or barely any. Like who thought it was ok to serve this pie?! I was shocked when I got home to eat this. I was so angry I spent 30 dollars on a large and bread sticks. And the bread sticks were even doughy and really salty. Couldn't even finish one bread stick. The cheese sauce had and old crust on the too layer like it had been sitting for a long time under a heat lamp. I will never go back. And after all that they couldn't even refund my money. They could only give me credit. It was a waste. I recommend never to go there. The average age of the staff was probably 20. The cooks in the back were all high schoolers and there wasn't a manager in sight. I was distgusted. You couldn't check my pizza to make sure it was up to standards. I would ha e waited another 39 minutes to get a quality fresh pizza. I have worked in food service for 15 years. At Panera bread as a matter of fact. And I will tell you what I will be going straight to the corporation managers about this. Because a franchise such as Chicago's should never have this happen.
