Provided by YP.comGreat place to call my dental home ! I've been a patient for 8 years. I would recommend Dr. Powers and her staff to anyone. They are kind and professional and always make me feel safe. The staff are genuine and honest they make time to say hi even when I'm not seeing that person.

Provided by YP.comIf I could give 0 stars I would, I went in for my 6 month cleaning and ending up walking out of there with an estimate of $8000 out of pocket for services that Dr. Powers said that I need to have done, I have since went to 2 different dentists for a 2nd and 3rd opinion and they both said the same thing, I have 2 cavities, 1 that I was pretty sure of, that I mentioned to Dr. Powers. So, needless to say, watch out for Creative Smiles, or Creat-A-Problem. I was going to let them do the work that they gave me the estimate for, until I went to a few different websites and read other peoples reviews, so that made me look into this a little further.

Provided by YP.comWORST DENTIST EVER! They will nickel and dime you until you leave. The worst part about it is they won't actually finish the work! Grab your wallet and run!!!

I had an appointment for cleaning and a regular examination. The sales pitch for services
that insurance will not pay for starts as soon as you hit the chair. Cancer screening, whitening,
fluoride rinse, visits every ninety days. The hygienist told me a standard cleaning was not enough.
She recommended use of the Root Planing procedure and the Antibiotic Arestin. They like to use
the word infection a lot as a scare tactic. I told the hygienist to check my coverage that I was not willing to pay for anything out of pocket. She returned in about ten minutes with another woman who said I have great coverage and everything they were going to do was covered. I agreed to the procedure and the use of Arestin only because of the assurance of coverage. This was a lie. And now they are hounding me to pay. There are many dentists in central Indiana. I would recommend you not use
Creative Smiles and Dr. Powers.

Provided by YP.comDon't waste your money, your time, or your smile. This place while courteous, are money-grubbing, lying snakes. I went there for a simple cleaning (my first time being there) and my visit went from under $100.00 to what they wanted me to pay close to $4000.00 for "work" that will need to be done. Went to another dentist and they said I might need 1 filling but all the other things that CREATIVE SMILES said I needed done before they would even fill my filling were false. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, I Wish I didn't even have to give them 1 star. Good Luck to someone that goes there...I hope they don't try and gouge their wallet and make them go through unnecessary pain just to pad their wallet.

Provided by YP.comI was out of town and needed to have a crown that came out re-cemented. Unfortunately, this place was pretty much the only dental office open today (apparently, pretty much all the dentists close for Spring Break during this week). The dental assistant who was assigned to me was pleasant and courteous. However, other than that, the place did not feel patient focused.
1) the music they played was loud. 2) during the examinaton, they reclined my chair so I could feel my blood rushing back my forehead (WTF? too lazy to lean over and look?)
My visit was for re-cementing my crown. They estimated $128 for x-rays and evaluation which they did before the dentist saw me. The dental assistant said there's a good chance they can't re-cement the crown as all I have left is roots left. I said, I may have to have it pulled from my regular dentist. Her eyes got wider and said "You wish to have it pulled today?" Finally when the dentist saw me, she said they could cement it, after adding another $100 to the bill. I said, no..I'll go back to my regular dentist.
In the end, I was charged $128 for x-rays and an evaluation but I'm not better off then before I went there.
If you are looking for a dentist, forget about Creative Smiles. They are more creative in getting you to pay high dental costs then making you smile.

Provided by YP.comIf you want your filling redone FOUR different times, because they just can not get it right the first time, then come to Creative Smiles! This has happened to me, on MORE than just one tooth!
I have also heard from other sources, that they tell some people that they need some work done, and when a second opinion is involved, the second opinion will say, that the tooth is just fine!!
I do NOT reccomend this place, and will NEVER go back!
