I had a very bad experience with this store. First, one of the owners, Jeff something, claimed the bed I was interested in (which I had seen at a competitors for less money) was higher quality than their competitors because it was made of solid wood and had tongue and groove drawers. They didn't have the bed onsite but we looked at it online. I believed him and ordered the bed along with a new mattress. When the bed finally arrived 3 weeks later and the delivery guys began assembling it, I discovered that Jeff had lied and the bed was exactly the same as the one at their competitors for $200 less... no tongue and groove as he had promised and exactly the same materials. I called the salesman at the store, Henry, to complain. I explained I wasn't calling to get money back but wanted to report that the owner had been dishonest and I was very disappointed that the item I bought was not what I was told it would be. While Henry did say something to the effect that he didn't know what Jeff had told me... blah blah, sort of implying it's my word against his... he was friendly and apologetic and offered me a $100 gift card. I figured I'd never really use it but was appreciative that he was trying to right a wrong. At that point I decided I would not send the bed back, though I was very tempted. Basically, I didn't want to deal with the hassle of having to alter my busy work schedule for them to come back, disassemble the bed and take it... and then I'd have to start the hunt for a new bed or find this same one, which I love the look of, somewhere else.(The competitors I previously mentioned have just as long of a waiting period so it'd basically be another near-month and another day off work-I have two jobs so work 7 days a wk. Hassle factor - very high).

The second thing that happened is the delivery guys putting the bed together put the side rails on upside down so the slats had no side supports. I only discovered this after they were gone and I was putting sheets on the mattress, which they had 'considerately' put on the bed for me, hiding their mistake. There is no way possible they didn't know that they had screwed up the frame once they put the slats down because the slats were 'floating' at the sides, only supported in the middle by the few spindles that are part of the support system. When I called Henry back he contacted the delivery guys who, of course said they were sure they'd assembled it correctly. Henry told me this and also that they had left for the day (6pm on Saturday evening). He basically implied that I might be wrong about the assembly but said it would be Monday before anyone could come back to 'take a look'. So, I told him that I took a photo of their clear mistake to show him and I sent it to the number that he gave me. After not hearing back for 20+ minutes I texted him to see if he received the photo.... no response. I'm stunned that anyone would conduct business this way! With dishonest owners I suppose I shouldn't expect any better from the delivery staff.

If this customer understood what dove tailing meant she would know that I told her the truth. She needs to pull her storage drawers out and look at the back, they are definitely "dove" tailed. She was trying to compare my product to a "similar" bed that was made of fillers and card board. I urge this cusomer to open the drawers and check the back of them, she will see what dove tailing means!
