Hair braiding is an ancient art, handed down from generation to generation in Africa. The origins of the art form can be traced back to Egypt as far as 3500 BCE. In many West African countries, hair braiding developed into complex patterns signaling one's social status, age group and village affiliation. Certain elaborate hair treatments were reserved for ceremonial occasions such as weddings.

bad service

I recently got my Hair braided there and experienced ths worst costumer service ever. first off I was in there from 9am until 9:30 that night. I did not have a consistent braider, I had about four different people switching up on my hair, then the lady had to leave to go pick up her daughter so I was sitting in the chair waiting for her to come back. They are too expensive and very rude.

Okay so I had two ladies working in my head, and I can say it was the worst experience ever!!! After sitting in the chair for maybe 6 hours, I noticed the back of braids were horrible. Hair was sticking out, and when i asked the girl if she could go back to fix it, all i got was attitude. I have had my braids in for two weeks now, and they are already looking horrible. The girl who braided my hair in the front did a good job, but the girl who was working in the back obviously did not know what she was doing. I will never I repeat never go back to get my hair done here again.

Bad Customer Service

I had return to Beney's for a second time to get braids. this would be the third time in my life getting braids. My frist complaint is that four differnet people worked on my head. Someone would start braiding and then leave, then someone else would just walk up and start braiding. I felt I was owed at least an explaniation and a consistent braider. Everybody does not braid the same. The first girl asked me how far did I want her to braid my hair. I didn;t know if my hair would stick up if she did not braid it all the way down. So I was asking her questions. Beney and the girl braiding my hair was getting fustrated because I was asking questions. I let her know that I can ask questions I'm paying my money. She told me she didn't care, she didn't need my money. If I hadn't had plans to leave town that day, I wouldn't have given her my money. I think customer service is very important and so is word of mouth.
