I have a complicated health situation. I appreciated the time and wisdom shared with me about the best way to utilize the medical equipment options to help me with my health conditions.



I have been pricing equipment and services among the major providers. Choice's gross price, before taking into account what the insurance company would only allow is very reasonable.



For example, Lincare was almost double in what they were chaging for the same or similiar service. Advance etc. was higher.



In this challenging economic company, we need to take into account what the gross charges are that are submitted to the insurance company, even if we have insurance. We should not feed those who are unreasonable and need to lower their charges.



Why? Because if we allow Lincare, Advance, etc. to overcharge we are hurting those WITHOUT INSURANCE. That gross charge becomes what they have to pay for very needed, possible lifesaving services.
