This was an outstanding experience. The staff members were knowledgeable and the doctor took the time to explain my foot condition and the treatment needed. Highly recommended!

Called 4 days in advance of mother's appt with new insurance information. Had to leave voicemail on line for insurance and billing. Left all my contact numbers and that we had appt in 4 days. Took 1/2 day off work....drove from Winston Salem to Greensboro to pick up my mother (she has had Parkinson's for over 25 years) then 15 miles to this office. After arrival...we were told no one got the message because that person had left the practice a week ago and NO ONE was answering or even checking her voicemail, but they were going to hire someone. I was then told my mother would have to pay for the appt or we had to reschedule. Of course we had to leave....she can not afford to pay like she has no insurance when she does. This was not her fault at all but we were treated like their lack of doing their job was our problem. So after losing 4 hrs of work, an 80 mile round trip to take my mother to this appt....we have nothing to show for it except we will apparently be looking for another podiatry practice. We were told we would be called the next business day. A week passed...we heard from no one. I even went on their website and requested a call from the office manager and the physician ..and nothing. Poor administrative skills and even poorer customer service. UPDATE: 2/10/14 Now 3 weeks has passed and still no one from that office has called me re: the insurance or to reschedule the appt. I did call the insurance on my own and was told "your mother has a PPO, not an HMO. It is clearly on the card. There is no prior authorization needed and there was no reason they should not have allowed her to be seen. Insurance would have 100% of the allotted amount as they are in network."
