The Financial & Administrative Services Department s council is responsible for the planning and directing of the city s financial affairs in compliance with federal, state and local financial laws, ordinances and regulations. It issues business privilege licenses and debt and secondary market disclosures. The department develops long-range financial plans, as well as monitors banking and investment related issues. It provides risk management, financial assistance and audit services and prepares the city s annual financial report.
