Terrible experience! I got braces from Dr. Irvin in high school, and now 10 years later, I am having severe migraine headaches due to his work. He somewhat helped my overbite, but I've had to find an orthodontist who specializes in neuromuscular work and now, have to get braces AGAIN because of the poor job that Dr. Irvin did. Not to mention, He yelled at my mother in his office to the point where she refused to come inside his building because of the shame she felt. Tara, the receptionist, always has some kind of attitude and I am very surprised that she is the "face" of his office. Vivian was not very kind at all and is very ignorant especially working with people who are not White. After i finished my braces with Dr. Irvin, there was NO after-care. I had to call him to see if i had to get a retainer or if some after-care was needed. He reluctantly saw me at his office and made me feel like I was crazy. Very poor communication on his part ! My new orthodontist is so much better- more kind- better customer service. I am seriously so surprised that he is still in business and over-charging the innocent citizens. I don't usually write such harsh reviews, but I received his 'care' when i was in high school where i did not have a voice and experienced so much anxiety going to his office. Now that i have a voice, i am warning you- please be aware. Especially for people who are not white- This is not a culturally sensitive office. Please take your money and time elsewhere! Don't be like me and lose thousands of dollars only to have to get braces again 10 years later because of such poor work!

As an Invisalign patient of Dr. Irvin's and the mom of two kids who have had traditional braces with him, I can honestly say we are thrilled with our smiles! He is very efficient in his scheduling and his timeline for treatment was very precise. He also has the most up to date scanning equipment so no messy trays for molds but rather a 3d computer instead! We had been to another orthodontist early on and after 18 months in braces, learned that my daughters ectopic eruption problem hadn't been resolved so we were referred by our pediatric dentist to Dr. Irvin's office- being told he had the experience to handle our case. That was years ago and not only did he correct my daughters smile, but I was so impressed with him and her smile that I decided to consider braces myself...but decided to go with the Invisalign because of the removable trays and fewer appts. I'm so glad I did! He is an elite provider for Invisalign (which means he does more Invisalign than any other local orthodontist or dentist) and after a year of wearing the trays, I now have the straight teeth and beautiful smile I had as a teenager. My son has had phase one and is going to be completing phase two soon. We like that we have the option of Invisalign or traditional braces for him as well. Whatever we decide, we know we are in excellent hands. Thank you Dr. Irvin! You and your staff are the best.
