First off.. by doing this review, I can tell it would be very easy for their staff to write a review. There's really no way of stopping them. So don't believe every good review on here.

Second.. if you just moved in or plan to, leave! Leave now!

Okays so here's a quick list of my families issues at this place. We were only there for roughly 10.5 months.

-loud neighbors
-constant basketball banging in neighbor apartments and in common areas
-running in breezeways
-stairs blocked by kids and their stuff
-kids of all ages cussing and talking back
-kids fighting
-kids vandalizing buildings and grounds
-kids displaying PDA on residents vehicles
-kids blocking streets and not moving right away when vehicles try to drive through
-dogs walked off leash
-dog waste not picked up by owners even with waste stations everywhere
-lease says no aggressive breeds but yet they are everywhere
-lease states no animal should be left unattended on balcony for any reason.. violated daily
-only outside decor and plants to be display on balconies... violated daily
-constant suspicious active
-constant smell of illegal substances
-caught a neighbor smoking illegal substances in car and reported to cops and office... nothing happened
-the neighbor's wife then came to my apartment at 1030pm, no shoes, rollers in hair, and pjs... she banged on door till we answered, asked if we had a problem with her husband sitting in his car (we called anonymously), my husband said no and that it's 1030pm can I help you? She said mmmh okay and stormed back to her apartment
-ac and heat never worked properly
-finally during 2nd summer there a random maintenance guy from a sister community came to look at ac and said it was leaking. Ac not replaced. 
-regular maintenance crew- slow work, would cancel orders without actually doing them, would hardly talk about the issues sometimes they wouldn't even say a thing, told me I was wrong all the time, got attitudes, spent more time in my home playing with my dog then working on the issue, never fixed multiple things
-roaches non stop
-ground fleas all over the community
-bed bugs (they claim there was no infestation and that no other apartment had them) highly doubt this. They have a repeat history of more than 3 reported reviews of bed bugs.
-non stop spiders
-cracks everywhere in apartments
-tons of damages to apartment prior to move in
-one staff member- rude, would tell resident to hold on to take a personal call, hardly in office, would not follow up on things, hangs up on people, constant attitude
-outrageous water and electric bills for one story apartment
-possible mold and lead paint in most apartments
-people from higher in the company rude and don't actually do anything to fix problems
-biker bar across street that is a daily issue
-busy road

Now- 
My family has been moved out for a month now. We are finally happy again! We gave Morehead a 30 day notice, they did not follow up, did not schedule an inspection, haven't returned deposit, to my knowledge no inspection, I've called numerous times and no answer or call back, and they took our apartment keys so there's no way for us to make sure there's no additional damages. It's been weeks and we still haven't heard. We will be contacting them again soon and if not I am considering legal counsel.

I hope this helps people out there looking. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I was pregnant and then had my daughter for months during our stay there and I was beyond miserable. From heat, constant daily issues and lack of management. Every day was a nightmare and another issue would always pop up. Yes the floor plan and price is amazing. But nothing about this place makes it worth it. Please please please do yourself a favor and continue your search.
