This was my first time visiting this business that I can recall (maybe I went during my college years?). I'm moving so I decided to take some records in - no particular expectations, just thought I'd give it a try. As I approach the desk, the man points to the counter as in "Place them here..." (referring to the stack of records in my hand). To which I reply, "Hello." The man continues to ignore my greeting "You can place them here" Long story short, I sat hello several times, which he never acknowledges with the courtesy of a greeting back. He simply proceeds to look through my records with disapproving commentary if their ragged condition.
One word for this man, his service and the business Rude, poor customer service, unwelcoming.
I'm a music connoisseur and after that poor treatment, not only did I not look around the store, but I would never recommend any of my fellow music lovers, musicians or DJ's that I know.

Stay away from this business a...

Stay away from this business at all times! The "owner" of this establishment is known as "The Record Nazi" who will throw you out of his store if you touch one of his precious records or ask any questions. He doesn't care who he offends! Young, old, handicapped, he'll throw you out whether you have money or not! He offers you pennies on the dollar for your trades and then charges Goldmine Magazine prices when he puts them on the racks! Go do business on eBay or go to the record show when it comes to your city, stay away from Remember When!!

DO NOT.... I mean DO NOT visit...

DO NOT.... I mean DO NOT visit this store. Allow me to give some justification for my strong opinion.

I just left this store 10 minutes ago because I was basically asked to leave. I was there with a friend of mine who happens to have an intellectual disability. Immediately after we walked in the owner of the store rushed over to intercept us before we even had a chance to look at one single record. The owner was extremely judgmental, unprofessional, ignorant, and discriminatory. I was blown away when he asked us to just leave because he was so worried that an individual with an intelectual disability could not properly handle the records. Little does this man know, Jeff (my friend) is a record collector and knows exactly how to handle delicate records. I strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere unless you are looking for a place that discriminates people before they get a chance to introduce themselves. ENOUGH SAID!
