Provided by YP.comI don't even want to give this place 1 star. It's the biggest pill mill ever. You can sit in the lobby and listening to the other "patients" make their deals with each other. I said something about it to one of the staff and she laughed it off and said, "Well you hear all kinds of things..." I'm like seriously?
Then when you finally get lucky enough to get back to see the Doc who barely speaks english, he has no time for you, he already has your script wrote out, he doesnt want to discuss any new issues you may be having. They recommended putting the SCS in my back and I wanted to speak with him about that... I was given some paper work and a DVD. Next visit I asked again about the SCS and having it done, and this time I was seeing DR. Goode in Archdale (I THOUGHT that office might be better ) and she said "Oh, well we'll get you a psychiatrist visit...." Huh? Btw, this was the 1st time I had ever seen this Doc and when she came in she didnt bother to introduce herself. Not to mention she was an HOUR late showing up at the office. Seriously, this place is a joke. Find a GOOD Primary care doc and let them recommend you to specialist, but dont go the way of the Pain Clinics. At Heag all you are is a number.

Provided by YP.comLook more like a place for junkies than a bona fide licensed and experienced medical practice (I've worked as a licensed addictions counselor/therapist in other States. This place struck me as one of crack joints replete in many of America's POORLY SERVED low income/indigent "urban/inner city" communities where the emphasis is more on making a buck as opposed to doing real pain management). Patient confidentiality was readily violated by the front desk staff (who were nice but clearly aren't trained as it pertains to confidentiality) who loudly called out your name and unfortunately i wasted my time (and travel money) as shortly after signing in and filling out a redundant form, I was told I needed to pay $120.00 upfront before one of their staff (who's not licensed in the State of North Carolina as I checked with the State licensing board after I got a really bad feeling about the HEAG practice). Really disturbs me that the nurse practitioner at my internist office would refer me to such a place.

Provided by YP.comI took my husband here as a new patient. As I observed this facility and staff. I was disheartened and my blood pressure was boiling!! The patient clientele were dope up. As soon as they sat down , they fell asleep, hardy hold eyes open! 95% were smokers! Hovering around the enterence smoking!!!
This facility is only here to assist drug users/ abusers. Asking patients to fill out paperwork every visit! ( a Book) Ridiculous!
Not a classy, professional pain management office. I wouldn't take my pets here! It's really a sad place!
Faculty doesn't deserve one star!

Provided by YPmobileOk, this is my first time visiting this clinic. I brought my wife here cause she was recommended to come here. Let's get to the point, it's been over an hour and she yet to she one person. One doctor to approve of her medicine, so many people came in and left with attitudes. So it had me to think when my wife told me about this place, was it true and it was true very true. I seen and read reviews from 2011, 2012,2013 and was not happy of what I seen. And I'm not happy now. Either they need to clean house and get new staff, or tell these people to straighten up. Because it makes no sense how people, come in and leave angry. Very slow, and rude place it's about to be 2016 and still being talked about horribly.

Provided by YP.comMy experience with the pain clinic was just plain horrible, unprofessional, disorganized, and even down right rude. Yes I too have always have to wait more than an hour every time I went there and also I too had test preformed and never got a clear answer about the test result or no answer at all. The there was the amounts I owed along with my co-pay but I never received a monthly bill until I had to literally call my insur. comp. to get a bill to start coming to my home in order for me to see a break down of what I was being charges. That lead to me having something in my urine, so it need to be set out to a lab and I would be charge by that lab only to find nothing in my urine. I complained to the insur. comp. and they finally stopped paying for the urine test. I just got tired of it all so I left and PRAISE GOD I found a new clinic that I wished I'd found before Heag. Things there are like night and day. I'm in and out no longer than 30 mins tops. that's the total visit waiting time included!!! I'm so glad to be away from the HEAG PAIN CLINIC, and I know that Dakwa will get his some where down the line, they all go!!!!!! H e reall only desearves a HALF OF A STAR IF THAT MUCH!!!!!

Provided by YPmobileHorrible!! This place is the biggest joke I have ever seen. The first visit was a five hour visit. The second, my appointment was three hours and I never saw the doctor. I gave up and rescheduled. They are treating people for opiate addiction!! Unreal

Provided by YPmobileMy appointment was at 11am.They did not take me back till 12.I took 3 different types of test. The first test was very painful. After the first test they sent me back to the front. Then they called me back for the next test 30 mins later, it took 4 mins. Then I went back to the front and set for 1 hour before they called me back fo another test., it took 35mins.Then back to the front again. They have a lot of paperwork you have to do. After all of that I finely got to see the Dr.I had to retake one of the test.It took another 20mins.I then had to wait for another he and a half to get my prescription. If you ever have to go to this pain Dr be prepared for a long wait. You can't have a drink or snack in the waiting room. I was their for 6 hours. They want even alow you to bring your children because it takes so long to get scene. I got a bad headache because I didn't have anything to eat or drink. If you can avoid this place do.The only thing this business has going for it is they were nice to you

Provided by YPmobileAt my visit today the doctor upset me so badly that I had a break down. He then took my perscripion and tore it into sheds. I have never had any one beat me down this way for no reason..he found out I wasn't using my C-pac machine and haven't since I have been going there. He went crazy then so after the previous brow beating this was more than I could take. After this emotional moring my pain..level is out of control. I don't understand this behavior!

Provided by YPmobileI visited the Greensboro,NC office to bring my mother for a visit. A sign on the door read no children allowed, I proceeded in anyway with my child. Another gentleman was there waiting for treatment with his child or it may have been his grandchild. As he was called back he asked if he could bring his kid back the lady told him" no she's not even supposed to be in here, that's what it says on that big ole sign on the door" yes she said that Very nasty like. I chimed in and asked why. She claims if someone drops a pill a kid could pick it up and eat it. Then she closes the door a few minutes later another lady comes and calls a patient gives me this mean look and closes the door. A few moments later the door opens again a lady comes out and asks me and my child to leave and asks the little girl to leave that was waiting on her dad or maybe he was her grandad. I ask for the owners name and number, they gave me the run around and told me to call the Durham office I did and the Durham office explained to me that the person I needed to speak with was right in the Greensboro location I was at. So that upset me even more, I called directly to Ann I believe that's the human resource lady and she was very professional and explained in great detail why children were not allowed. I explained to her that I completely understood but that doesn't explain why her office made a ten year old little girl stand outside the building without supervision she claims that shouldn't have happened. I informed her that if someone doesn't come out here and bring that child back in to wait for her parent I was going to report them. Someone came to get the girl. I am disgusted at the way they handled this situation, someone could've snatched that child and they would have been the cause for it. I am not done reporting them this will be corrected.

Provided by YP.comAfter my horrible experience at Elkin Revival Pain Clinic, I thought that I finally found a place that would care for me and about me. After the first visit I was forced to pay $125 as is every new patient, to see a Drug & Alcohol counselor to be sure I was NOT drug addicted. Well I welcomed that interview because it will help me in my case against Elkin, because it states exactly everything I needed it to say for my case that I am NOT! However it was a waste of money being that on only my 2nd visit, Doctor Dakwa discharged me because he wanted to raise me from 180 15mg to 120 30mg, thats going from 2700mg to 3600mg. I told him "no way" I did not want that kind of increase. I only wanted what my old doctor in NJ used to give me and that was 10/325mg for the break through pain. That the 30mg I can not function or drive or anything, they make me lethargic & put me to sleep. Well he heard me say drive and wow all heck broke loose and he said he was discharging me on the spot because I am not supposed to be driving while on these meds, allegedly. I've only been drivin on these meds and more for the last 8 years on & off but they are going to hold it against me now. Even tho Bernie does 99% of all the driving now made no difference to him. I told him even driving my motor chair would be dificult while on the increase he was suggesting. Can you believe he decided to contact Dr. Adams from Elkin, despite the fact I'm planning on suing him made no difference. And inspite of the fact that he did not agree with his alleged theory of the"Opioid Induced Hyperalgesia", that's why he increased my meds right from the get go, but I just could not go up to those 30mg. They are too strong for me.Then he tells me so just break them in half. Can you imagine a physically challenged person as myself who can not even make a fist breaking these pills just so I can take them? This all just makes no sense to me at all. Ok, so then on the discharge papers he writes I'm discharged due to being rude & disruptive. That's because he has no proof of me driving at all & I hardly drive much at all anyways anymore. Does any of this make any sense. If anyone would like to talk further about this or your own experiences please contact me at [email protected]. I may want to pursue this situation as well as Elkin. We'll see after I speak to a lawyer. THX!
