Provided by YPmobileI recently leased a ram 1500 and not only did they find the truck i wanted but they got it from a New Jersey dealer the next day. I have been back twice since for service and they got me in and out without a glitch. They performed 2 recalls without an appointment.
I would recommend them for service even if you bought car elsewhere

Provided by YP.comI purchased my 2007 Grand Jeep Cherokee in June 2013 from East Hills Jeep in New York, before moving to North Carolina in September, 2013. This car has been a complete nightmare as of WEEK 1 of ownership!!! On July 4th 2013, with my 2 year old son in the car, the cars alternator died IN HOLIDAY NIGHT TRAFFIC ON THE BELT PARKWAY!! Then a week after that, the sunroof started leaking...SEVERELY LEAKING!!! With every incident, I had to take time away from my day to go to the dealership to have the car repaired. I was there so often that employees made jokes about me working there....(NOT FUNNY AT ALL)!!! Prior to me moving to North Carolina, I had been in constant contact with the General Manager of East Hills, JUDY BURR about all of my issues related with this horrible used car purchase. I was assured that the sunroof was replaced with a brand new sunroof and sunroof track, BUT THAT WAS A LIE! I was also told that the lining would be replaced THAT WAS NEVER DONE!
Now my car is back in the shop here in North Carolina for the same REOCCURRING problems, the sunroof is STILL leaking and now there is water damage to the interior roof lining, the radio and the front door speakers.
Completely fed up with the entire situation, I gave the Lake Norman dealership in North Carolina the name and telephone number to East Hills figuring that they would coordinate with them about the repairs necessary for the car (something that I think is extremely fair) so imagine my surprise when a representative from Lake Norman called to tell me that he personally spoke with JUDY BURR and before he could tell her exactly what was going on with the car she, very rudely, told him that East Hills will NOT pay to make the necessary repairs and if that’s a problem I can call her directly.
I have been extremely nice up to this point, but fair is fair and this dealership needs to be held accountable. I will not pay ONE CENT for any repairs to this car outside of normal wear and tear!!
As of this moment, I am sick to my stomach over this car. Every single time I get in it to take my son to school and go to work, I pray for a drought. Yes, I got one ticket on your loaner car (a loaner car I would have never been in had you sold me a car that wasn't leaking), but I am not paying it until you make the $3,500 worth of repairs to the car you sold me! Your service tech threw away the part that is causing all this trouble and you are refusing to take responsibility and do the right thing. STOP PASSING THE BUCK AND DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX MY CAR!!!!
I am a very nice and very fair person that has been pushed to the brink of madness with this car. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER JEEP BRAND VEHICLE EVER , ESPECIALLY FROM EAST HILLS JEEP….NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! EAST HILLS SOLD ME A LEMON!!!

Provided by YP.comThis review is an expression of opinion, not fact. I made the mistake of getting a service job done here & they robbed me. In sum, if I did everything they told me, I would have paid $1900. I went to Garden City Jeep and got everything done for $800. I discovered the parts were available in Garden City Jeep for far cheaper even though that's also a dealer. East Hills also charged me a fortune for diagnostic work--which is waived at Garden City if you get the work done there--without telling me the price. (They get paid on commission and, as a result, deliberately inflate their prices). I got scammed by Mike but I know that at least one of the other service people is just as bad. Sit in their waiting room and watch the jaws of customer after customer drop as they are informed what they absolutely must get done. Scam operation. Stay away!! Go to Garden City Jeep if you absolutely must go to a dealer.
Dear Manners, As I mentioned in my response to your Google review, this review dated 3/9/12 is the SAME, EXACT review you left on Yelp on 12/11/10 and the SAME, EXACT review you left on Google on 3/2/12. I am questioning why the reposting of this review. Either you or YP.com is recycling reviews from other sites, or you brought your vehicle back to East Hills for a 2nd time with the same exact issue and dealt with a service writer, Mike, who has not worked here since December 2011, or you possibly want to drive people to a competitor. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind this review. I am working with Google to remove what I see as a fraudulent review and an overt desire to mislead the public. I am always open to discussing reviews with customers so I invite you to contact me to discuss this review further. Provided by YP.comok....brought my 2004 grand cherokee to this place on tuesday afternoon for electrical issues and now its thursday night at 846pm. and not once did the service advisor Eric call me to give me an update. I had to call him twice. And all he does is give me excuses. I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt since i brought it in for other service before. But from what this service advisor is showing and telling me, they havent a clue as to how to repair my vehicle. He actually told me "i had to pull the mechanic off your car to fix another car" ---- ridiculous!!! The truck is still there....i will update as to the results if any....this place is unbelieveable !!! i feel so dumb for giving this dealership my business.... ok. march 6 2012....this guy PHIL WOLHAR......hes the buffer.....watch out.....when he calls about your complaint. rest assured NOTHING will definitely happen. this place is the BIGGEST RIP OFF
Dear My Back Hurts, This response is meant to clarify facts. I'm sorry you remain upset. As I mentioned to you on the phone when we spoke, Eric should have contacted you sooner. That is something within our control and I assure you I'm working on improving this. With respect to your vehicle, though, I'm not sure where East Hills went wrong. You brought your 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 60k miles to us in July 2010 and we replaced parts. The parts came with a 12 month manufacturer warranty. Twenty months later the parts fail. In March 2012, you brought your vehicle back to us, now with 90k miles on it. You want Jeep to extend their twelve month parts warranty. We call Jeep on your behalf to see if we can extend the warranty. We ask you to call. As Judy our General Manager told you, if we both seek to have the warranty extended, perhaps Jeep will extend their parts warranty. Jeep declined to extend their warranty based on our calls. Did you have an opportunity to call? Did you receive a similar answer? The day we spoke, you had not called. In your follow up email to me, you did not mention you called Jeep. I was clear when we spoke on the phone that this issue may go the direction where the manufacturer refuses to extend their warranty. Unfortunately, this is a manufacturer issue and the manufacturer made their decision. You mention that East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is a rip off, but I'm not sure where we ripped you off. From your email, you are now having an independent shop perform the repairs. I recognize your frustration, but I'm not sure it is directed in the appropriate area. Sincerely, Phil Wolhar Chief Marketing Officer East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram [email protected]

Provided by YP.comAfter purchasing the 2006 Volkswagen Beetle from your establishment, it was taken to the Vehicle Manufacturer Service Facility to determine the cause of a failed CT State emission test. It was also determined that the door hinge was broken. We were informed that this (1) a safety concern (2) the cost of repair is substantial enough to fall under the NY State Lemon Law/Warranty Guarantee. To spite my numerous requests to *return* the vehicle for refund and put this behind us, East Hills Jeep accepted documents from Danbury VW outlining preliminary issues that required repair, and subsequently the vehicle as well. It was sent for service via Flatbed trailer. They appear to have successfully corrected repairs needed for emissions. We were informed that a new hinge had been ordered and, ultimately, that they had fixed the door. No documentation was provided to us, to spite requests for copies via facsimile , mail, or post office. Upon return home with the vehicle after its first trip for service, it was immediately noticed that the door hinge was not repaired. It was stated to me that a “new part” was being ordered. This has been confirmed to be false by the Vehicle’s Manufacturer service facility at Danbury Volkswagen. Requests that the dealership complete repairs on the door hing have thusfar been denied, for reasons which I am unsure.
Dear millsdmb, You contacted me a few months ago. Our owner spoke with you the following day and, to my knowledge, the needed repairs had been made. Would you kindly reach out to me and provide an update? Sincerely, Phil Wolhar Chief Marketing Officer East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram [email protected]

All together I visited about seven to eight dealerships looking for a used car with low miles (30,000 or less) It should have been a fairly simple task but wasn’t. None of the ad’s I found in the newspapers or online were honored or they had already sold the cars. Despite telling me on the phone they had them in stock still and to come on down. I couldn’t find anything anywhere in good enough condition for the amount of money I was willing to spend. I went to East Hills expecting more of the same but that was not the case. I ended up walking out of there with a 2008 Sebring way below the price I was originally looking to spend. I had a very pleasant experience at East Hills and I was happy with the professionalism and lack of tricks, lies and games. I would certainly return in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

Provided by YP.comEast Hills is the BEST dealership by far. They surpassed my expectations and gave me a great deal on a new Jeep. I didn’t even feel like I was at a dealership, the guys were helpful and not false salesmen nice, just decent professional people. They were thorough and did their best to get me a good price. Cash deal, no issues whatsoever, quick and easy. There are a lot of reasons East Hills is great. The selection, fair pricing, and of course the staff. I recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a new car, SUV or truck!

Provided by YP.comEast Hills Jeep is the best dealership around. I didn’t have much in mind when going to buy my car. I wanted something nice looking in the color silver and not too expensive. I wanted to get an older car, because I was low on funds, but every car dealership I went to only had run down old beaters in my price range. I didn’t have much cash but I knew I wanted a nice looking car, one without rust at least! When I went to East Hills I saw a lot of inexpensive cars and even SUVs that I could afford, which was a pleasant surprise. They showed me every silver car they had in stock and told me they could order/find something for me if they didn’t have it, but I saw a really nice 07’ Chrysler Sebring with great mileage, in silver and it was in my price range! I was so happy and I still am. Thanks East Hills! I love my car!

Buying my car couldn’t have gone any better than it did! I had no idea what I wanted and I didn’t have much to spend, but they guys down at East Hills helped me find a great car that I could afford. They were all so nice and VERY helpful, I couldn’t have asked for more. I’m very pleased with my purchase and I plan on recommending East Hills to everyone I know. Thanks guys for making it so easy, I love my car!

Provided by YP.comThank you East Hills Jeep, for making a nightmare a dream come true. I searched many dealerships for a fair priced Jeep and nobody had what I wanted. Until I went to you guys and found exactly what I was looking for with tons of help from the staff. Thanks again, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Provided by YP.comI know it is not often people take the time to write a good review but I must say East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge is a five star operation. I have recommended this dealership to my friends and family. Any time there is a problem with my jeep I bring it in and they give me a loaner car. No questions asked. I never have to wait for an appointment either!! Kuddos to East Hills Jeep.
