Nice roadside motel-resort built in the 1940's and nestled in the mountain community of Greenville, CA. The natural surroundings are stunningly beautiful and serene. This motel is awful. The owner acts like you are staying in his private home instead of paying $160 a night for an old, musty fume ridden room. The tvs are old and you can only have 1 remote for 2 TVs. Instead of matts in front of the door the owner makes you wipe your feet on a hand towel. He got angry because we knew what a remote was and did not need to listen to him explain it. He told us we had to respect him because he was the owner. He made my granddaughter so afraid she cried. I have never had such an awful experience.

Travel for business and a lovely, quiet spot to relax while taking care of business in Plumas County. Just minutes from the best nature has to offer, Round Valley Lake and Lake Almanor.

This is the most friendly Motel I have ever been in. Totally relaxed atmosphere and the most clean country place. This was "Girls weekend Out" and we had a wonderful time.

I look forward to returning.

Dirty & unfriendly

Huge hole in the wall allowed tree frog and carpenter ants in my room. leaking toilet. Mold on bathroom floor. Didn't service my room the whole weekend I was there. Will stay in city about 10 miles out next time I visit. Would be worth the drive.
