We stayed at this resort last summer. What a terrible experience. The area is beautiful but this resort is like a concentration camp and the manager Barb is the Furer. First, we thought we were getting a lodge type arrangement but it was a duplex. We were sharing a cottage with the only other people at the resort. You must be 18 to use any of the facilities without a parent, so our 16 and 17 yo kids couldn't even use the pool unless I accompanied them. At check-in, we had to inventory everything in the place or get a fine. Every rule was enforced by a threat of a fine. It ruined our trip, worrying about the rules so much. The manager was rude and mean. When we left, we were so afraid of being fined we cleaned the place thoroughly. A few weeks after we returned, we had a $600 charge on our credit card. We called and Barb told us it was $100/day for over-occupancy because we had one too many persons, and we were lucky because the would usually charge $200/day. If you're elderly and without a family, and you don't mind the conceitedness, you may be alright here. If you have a family and want to enjoy family time, this place is a nightmare.
