Not what you pay for

I have lived at the Plantation Apartment for almost 2 years. When I first moved here, I was warned that Pam, the Property Manager was not nice by her secretary, Brandy. I was informed that if anything needed to be done at the office to meet with Brandy instead of Pam. My first encounter with Pam proved this to be true when I had to go remove an occupant from my lease. She was nothing but rude and hateful about the situation. And as far as the boasted amenitities that are listed, most never work or rarely work at all. The hot tub has been torn up since I moved in in May of 2008 and has a huge crater dug around it. Promises that it would be fixed continue to this day. The washer and dryers are always broken down and there are not enough to support the complex residents. Pets are allowed but when you go to pay for or put the pet on the lease one manager tells you not to do it and won't fill the paperwork out but not to tell the other manager. The pet deposist is an ungastly 300.00 non-refundable deposit per pet now. If you help a neighbor by holding their dog's leash, you get a nasty letter on your apartment door that the dog belongs to you and you must come to the office IMMEDIATELY to take care of the situation or remove the dog, who is really not your dog and has not been in your house.
