Provided by YP.comMy husband and I visited the Bread Lady for lunch on Wednesday, 2/18 and ordered the soup of the day and half sandwich box lunch for 7.95 each.
To our surprise the soup, Cheddar Broccoli, was terrible!! It even had a bad smell to it. We didn't eat it, I gave my half my sandwich to my husband, who had to go back to work, and I went home and ate lunch there.
The line worker we had was very nice, though the line was pretty slow. No real biggie there, but the soup...gosh, for $7.95 @ and terrible soup to boot....
My husband said we won't be back...

Provided by YP.comThis establishment is a joke!! The staff did not act like they wanted to sell the merchandise, The person that made a chicken salad sandwich for me had designer nails (these nails are known to harbor bacteria) not only did she not wash her hands, but she did not put on plastic gloves when handling the food! She plopped the chicken salad in the middle of the bread and mashed it down. I had to tell her to spread the salad over the entire slice. I asked for mayonnaise and she put a string of less than 1\4 of an ounce I had to ask for more. The food was something that my grandchildren could have put together. The only thing remarkable about this store was the sign outside. I am from New York and I enjoy good fresh bake bread.. I set out to look for a bakery and found this one in the yellow pages. We traveled 1 and 1\2 hours (from Rich Square) only to have to overpay for what is worst than the average school lunch. We will not be caught on the same side of the road as the "Bread Lady" again. And who is she and why wasn't she there? All we saw were 2 young girls. I tried to cut the 1 star in half, but I couldn't

Provided by YP.comThe ladies at The Bread Lady is extremely rude and do not know the definition of customer service. Every restaurant in Greenville is busy during lunch time, but that does not make it ok to be rude to paying customers. Their prices are also way to high for the quality of food that they serve. A 10 year old could make every single item on their menu with ease and charge $.75-$1.00 for them at a bake sale. Do not waste $6-7 dollars for a 2inx2in brownie (probably from the Betty Crocker box mix), a sandwich you can make at home, and some chips that you can buy from the gas station for $.99. I can live with amazing food and ok service or good food and great service, but bad food and bad service- I don't think so!
