We were impressed by ADS's ability to take our ideas in their state of infancy and transform them into a drawing that is unique, creative, and brought our home to life. ADS creates a space in which you can image yourself before the land's been cleared. They are accessible during all stages of the project from the initial discussions with the builder to completion. They are flexible, willing to make changes to suit the customer. We highly recommend ADS.

We hired Darrell Snow/ADS - The Design Company to be the architect for our new home. To start, Darrell had us fill out a design questionnaire to get an idea what kind of house we were looking for, including room sizes, general feel, number of bedrooms, bathrooms etc. After receiving this input, and after he physically walked our property, he came up with an initial design. From there we went back and forth (we were doing this via teleconferences and email since we were in a different state at the time) revising the design until we were satisfied. Darrell really listened to what we wanted. Big windows capturing all of the view, every room having a view (the house had to "wrap" around the edge of a cliff), flow from one room to the next, but separate master "wing" etc. Darrell was easy to work with, had great ideas, never tried to force us to do what he wanted, but rather he adjusted to what we wanted and what was important to us. The end result was a house that exceeded our expectations. Further, ADS provided us good value for our money.

Darrell is a professonal who is dedicated to developing plans for houses which become very people friendly homes. He takes input well and brings vivde detail to vague ideas.
