Provided by SuperpagesThis is directed more toward the branches and not the main Library. The staff is usually very helpful, well prepared to assist with questions or problems, and the new branches are well kept and stocked with data. The branches are open during the day, and close early in comparison to the time they could actually be an assistance to the community, students, and others. Why do they close so early? Why not open at noon and stay open later in the evening providing a true community resource. The present method requires traveling out of the communities where branch locations are present and going to the main facility if research data is needed. This might be a way to conserve and better use the resources in the community as I believe they were initially intended. Currently they are a big vault filled with resources that took many tax dollars to establish and they do little in return for the investment.
