Good experience overall and happy with my purchase. Just one thing I found to be very unprofessional. Both sales ladies we talked to had absolutely no clue what the violin was made of. One simply said "its probably wood" and that she didn't know...and the other was just as bad, suggesting "maybe pine or plywood".
I had to explain that we wouldn't be paying for a violin made of plywood, before she took it upon herself to go find out.
I'm guessing no one in the store at the time knew because she had to go look the exact model up online to find out. I think if I'm buying an instrument of any price, I should be able to ask any questions and not get a look of confusion back. Even a simple "That's a good question. I'm not sure but I will find out right now for you! "

This is my daughters first year of strings so honestly we knew very little about the instruments and what was needed. I had been to two other local strings suppliers and wasn't happy until I went to Musical Innovations. The employee that helped us (Danielle) was extremely knowledgable and friendly, as was the owner. Even though I accidently came during delivery time and not store hours they were pleasant, helpful and made me feel very welcome. They answered every question I had and educated me on things I didn't know to ask about. I'm so glad I found this store!
