Although seeming a nice place to live on the surface, Americana is far from it. More often than not, there is no hot water, and repeated attempts to get management to fix the problem have been unsuccessful. The lease appears to be but a guideline. When management waived our pet deposit, they only waived it for one pet, rather than for the whole unit, as it states in the lease. We won't be renewing our lease this year, not only for these reasons, but also because the manager determines whether our rent will rise or not if we choose to remain on a month to month basis. Needless to say, we are actively looking for a new place of residence.
