My daughter missed the order date for her cap and gown. The school told her she could pick up the cap and gown at Balfour in Longview. When she got there she was charged an additional $12 for shipping and handling. When I called about this was told that every student pays this because the store has to pay shipping in order to have the products in stock. In my work this is called "cost of doing business." Or you quote the products to include any overhead costs. I was promised a call back from the owner, but was told that all students pay this fee. Shoddy business practices.
