This was my first experience with any eye care business... After my eye exam, my insurance would only cover glasses or contacts. I chose to have them pay for contacts, so they fitted me for contacts and gave me a temporary pair and said I would recieve a follow up call within 2 weeks... No call ever came. Infact, over a month later I hadn't heard anything about my contacts coming in... Frustrated, I called to inquire only to hear the lady deny that I had ordered any contacts according to their records. Not the best 1st impression... Months later, I got the idea to check with my insurance company to see if they had been charged... The insurance rep. put me on hold while he contacted Cavett Eye Care. When he returned, BINGO!!! They charged my insurance $200 for contacts that they never ordered. Fraud... Not sure if the insurance co. pressed any charges, but they credited my insurance back... He said the lady's excuse was that "he was going to order contacts"... Apparently they charge insurance on presumptions. Never got my contacts, I do business elsewhere.
