History Jewish Family Services of Greenwich was founded in 1983 to meet the social service needs of a growing Jewish population in Greenwich, Connecticut. Embracing core Jewish values, this hands-on agency has become an advocate for senior citizens and immigrants, a comprehensive resource for adoptive parents, a provider of non-traditional approaches to wellness, and a source of tangible support and counseling for community members facing serious personal challenges, and a resource and referral network. JFS is a valued participant in a network of local service providers whose programs complement our five local synagogues.
