After finally getting them out here to do a quote on some landscaping we wanted done - very simple landscaping (rock areas around 2 parts in our backyard, put weed protector down, edge it with a metal edging that matches what is out front, put rock down) - it took awhile to get our quote and then they were booked out until October. We didn't have a problem waiting but I did mention in several conversation/emails that we would be out of town the day they were available. He said no problem, I spoke with your husband and know what to do. Right before leaving, I again emailed to make sure they were coming and knew exactly the job that needed to get done. Part of his email response was "I would be happy to stop by once again before coming out to do the install, but it seemed pretty self-explanatory when I met with Mike which is how I derived the estimate. If you are needing any changes or wanting something different that when I met with Mike, then please communicate all your needs so I do not have to continue coming out to the property."Needless to say, the job was not done as described and on part of the job, the weed material didn't cover the entire area under the rocks by about 6 inches (which is now over grown with grass). I emailed and called him right after we noticed this. He emailed back that the job was done to the specified conversation between him and my husband. His exact email was "Ms. Carroll, Having never met with you regarding your landscape project; I can assure you the job was completed as quoted. Unfortunately, weed/grass growth is a constant maintenance issue all homeowners are faced with. I would recommend "Round-Up" or "Ortho" Total Vegetation Killer to assist with the maintenance issues you are facing. Obviously, with the current snow on the ground the growing season this year is over. Best of luck battling those pesky weeds in the spring.
