I was very disappointed to find out that while my daughters were going there for Before/After school care, no one was actually watching them get on/off the bus. I spoke with the bus driver, and she mentioned that no one has EVER done this for the 5 years that she has had that route, and that she had complained about it several times. The only change that she has seen take place in the 5 years, is that last year someone started coming outside in the morning with the kids. I am not comfortable with this! I am paying them to keep my children safe while I am at work, but how do they even know if my child(ren) are getting off of the bus or not? The location of the facility is in a fairly busy, industrial area. I think other parents should know this is happening. I only discovered it when I came to pick my child up early one day--I mentioned it to the staff and they made it sound like it was a "one-off" occurrence, but I came early again the next week, and had the same experience. Then I spoke with the bus driver--I pulled my children from the program after that. :( Very disappointed.
