Provided by YP.comI want to start off saying I love the stylists and aestheticians here. Belinda and Kelly Armstrong in particular. I also LOVE the majority of the products I have tried. The atmosphere is lovely too. That being said, I do have a couple of issues. Customer service leaves a fair bit to be desired. I have been treated offhandedly and been made to feel beneath notice when walking in to buy product. Things are not always explained to you fully in regard to charges and policies, and they are not forgiving at all. Returns, even after less than 24 hours are only given as a store gift card, which they MAIL to you. You can't even have them put a credit on your account. So, while I still recommend them, make sure you know what you are buying, are completely comfortable losing the money if it doesn't work out, and are not looking for a "customer is always right" attitude.

Provided by YP.comTHEY BUTCHERED MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!
The staff has no clue whet they are doing! I went in asking for a perm, i walked out with 16 inches missing from my hair, it was the wrong color and she destroyed my highlights! On top of that...they refused to fix it or refund me, they wont return my calls and have been so incredibly rude to me it makes me sick! I will NEVER go there ever again and advise that no one else go there either!! Oh and after they totally ruined my hair they charged my 157.00!!!! Biggest mistake i have made this Century!!!

Provided by YPmobileI went to this place regularly for a while, but it seemed like my stylists were always leaving...so it made me wonder if this had something to do with how the place was run, if the staff wasn't satisfied with staying there. While the cut and color were generally good, and the stylists I had were nice, the prices were outrageous compared to other places. I went in for a pedicure once too. My first and last, as it turned me off from pedicures. Again, way too expensive, and the girl seemed like she wanted it over with and could care less about what she was doing. Plus I didn't like the benches to sit on, and would prefer my own chair for the pedicure. There are many more reasonably priced places out there for comparable services...so definitely not going back here.

Provided by YP.comNEVER AGAIN will I go to Robert's Salon. I used to travel an hour from my hometown to this place because the quality of haircare was outstanding and the prices were affordable. Another move and a bout of illness prevented me from visiting like I normally would for a great cut or highlight, but I managed to finally get back in there when I was able. Then I noticed things started to change. The mood around there was negative and the girls working in there seemed very stressed. It had become too noisy, not serene like a spa should be, and just not so nice. Poor service and the "I don't give a (you fill in the blank)" attitude from the staff really deserved the attention of a complaint to a manager, but quite frankly I was irritated and wanted to get out of there. I let it slide. Finally, though, this came back to haunt me when my own stylist said a few things that were personally offensive and inappropriate. I did not complain, but I should have. I left there and was thinking, "Wow, I should have seen this coming - this place is ate up!!" I NEVER went back to "P" or Robert's ever again. I dropped about $1500 a year for all my services and products (not including the tips) - not that any of that mattered from their perspective - their customer service was completely gone - but it was the principle of the matter and the fact I would invest my time, money and devotion to this place (I was a customer for 15 years). Very sorry it ended up negatively, but on a positive note I have a stylist somewhere else, closer to home who is just as good and always leaves me feeling good - inside and out!

Provided by YP.comI was a client of Roberts Salon for 12 plus years: nails & hair. I have went through multiple nail techs & stylist (& have heard the discontent spoken among many staff members). In December both my current nail tech & styles had quite & I had to rethink my situation. Over the years Robert would increase rates on an average of twice yearly. This last increase just priced me out of being a regular client. I began going to a place in the same area where the fees are a third of Roberts. I have had more compliments on my hair than ever before. This place is more client friendly with a drink & cookie bar.
The talk among the staff at Roberts was the fact prices were on a continueous incline & their business was on the decline. Too bad Robert loves the color of green - he became too greedy & is loosing a lot of his bread & butter. Can't complaint - really love my hair & it don't take a huge bite out of my pocket. May want to look on Emerson & Country Line before booking at Roberts.
