Steve is also a good listener, perceptive (and therefore able to make the most of short sessions), kind, supportive, and not self-important. He's well-balanced and comfortable with himself, so his analysis of problem situations and conflicts can be counted on to be consistently logical and wise, untainted by personal baggage, prejudice, impatience, or defensiveness. I can easily say that (after a lifetime struggle with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, and boundary issues) I trust him and am making more progress than was possible with the help of any other doctor.
