I wish I could give zero stars. I scheduled an appointment at Marascalco Dermatology with almost three weeks of anticipation. I show up to my appointment (which is 1 hour away from my home) and the receptionist informed me that they don’t have a physician in the office all week. She reports that they “tried to call to cancel the appointment” and the call log she has states that they called on March 5 (a week ago) and that “they probably left a message”. Well I definitely do not have any voicemails from them. I asked her if clinic policy was just to call once (even when you didn’t get in touch with anyone) when canceling an appointment. The receptionist was very apathetic and said “yep, we probably mailed you a letter too”. Again... I just checked the mail yesterday and there’s no letter or any notification. I’ve never been to a place with such disregard for my time. Not to mention if you are going to cancel an appointment, standard courtesy and any bit of respect would call for at least more than one attempt at reaching the person. I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that a call was even made to try to cancel the appointment but I find it hard to believe that in today’s world a voicemail that was supposedly left on my cell would mysteriously not be there. I would never recommend anyone go to this place. If they have such a lack of respect for your time with something as simple as properly cancelling an appointment they do not deserve your business.
