I have 2 dogs. I took one of my dogs there in October. I was told she did very well and had no to think otherwise. I took both of my dogs there in January and will NEVER go back. My little one shook and shook when we walked up and was terrified when she left. The next day we went to brush her and she cowed in front of the brush. My big guy (if you can call 15 pounds big) was more than anxious to go home. THREE of his nails were cut to the quick. And his skin was very red and irritated. There were several areas that looked like they'd been nicked. As a "professional," I wouldn't expect there to be injuries of any sort, even cutting a nail to the quick (let alone 3...), but I couldn't believe she didn't say a word about it. Terrible.

It would seem that a previous reviewer has this groomer confused with someone else---or more likely, they are simply a crackpot or a troll trying to cause a very professional and conscientious person a great deal of unnecessary grief. I've owned dogs for over 30 years and have tried many different groomers. Everyone who knows me knows that I am extremely picky about who I will ever allow to touch my "precious" dog. I have been taking my dog to BowWow Happy regularly every 8 weeks for grooming for over 6 years. We have never had another groomer who does such an EXCELLENT and professional job every single time without exception. Masako consistently does an outstanding job and I know her to be only kind and gentle, careful and caring. She is highly trained, has years of experience, and goes to great lengths to acquire continuing education in her field. The previous review is just extremely inconsistent with what has been my experience with her over the course of many years and just doesn't make any sense...except that some people are just plain mean...

We take our beautiful long coat German Shepherd to Bow Wow Happy for grooming and she does a fabulous job. We are thrilled to have such a high quality groomer in our neighborhood. Our girl goes every 6 weeks to keep her coat matte free and looking beautiful. Thank you, Bow Wow Happy for your awesome talent and service.

It's difficult to write a review like this, but having attempted to give my honest review of this business previously and having such attempt thwarted by the business owner, who is capable of having negative reviews removed at will.... I think some parity in experience sharing is necessary.Our dog did not look very good after his haircut, but that would soon turn out to be the least of our worries when nicks in the skin appeared within hours of pickup. Within days, a severe ear infection followed requiring an intense course of medication to remedy painful, bleeding ears. This had never happened to our dog before. Needless to say, we didn't go back, but also learned of an acquaintance with a similar story.We've since located another groomer locally with a skilled hand to care for our pet's needs. Regaining trust of groomers was yet another after effect of this bad experience. So much for "stress free". We've since come to the realization that the good looking shop touting a "one dog at a time" policy is not always the way to go. There's much to be said for working too fast and cutting corners, at the expense of your pet's well being.

Stress free says it all. My pup loves going to see Masako. He jumps out of the car and rushes inside. I am so glad I found her.

I took Sophie, my Maltese / Shi Tzu Mix puppy, to Bowwow Happy for the first time last week. They were reasonably priced and the facility was bright, cheerful, and clean. What I liked most was the individual, caring attention and the subsequent reduced grooming time. She was done in 90 minutes versus the 3 hours her previous groomer required. Sophie was BEAUTIFUL when I picked her up! I'm very pleased.

She does a wonderful job and is great with my dog.

Bowwow Happy is wonderful! Masako treats our dogs as if they were her own. I have gone to her for years and have always come away happy :-)

I have taken my dog, Erica, to Masako at Bowwow Happy for years. She is very gentle and always does an excellent job with Erica's grooming. Masako genuinely cares for our furbabies :-)
