Went in to purchase a Glock. Was talking to said "chubby lady", asking her about my options for a smaller grip Glock pistol. I thought there was a single stack/petite gun for my small, female hands. Chubby told me about every gun she owns, none of them being a Glock, and skirted around my specific question of inquiring on a petite grip option. Additionally, she seemed annoyed with me the entire time, was a know it all about everything EXCEPT what I was needing help with. Super long, irritating story short, I was told what I was asking for didn't exist. I was informed that all Glock grips are the same and that they come with an option to increase the size. So I purchased the G19. A few weeks later a friend showed me her G43. Hmmm

Stopped in on 11/18/15 for some target rounds and had the most awkward experience buying ammo in my life.

First off the chubby lady that tried mustering up the energy to help me refused to suggest a decent budget clean burning target round , she started naming off 50 brands of ammo and pretty much had an attitude like I was wasting her time and energy.

If I wanted a top notch defense round I would of asked for a defense round so why she was throwing out prices of every brand had me stumped .

My experience was so bad I ended up leaving with a poorly made dirty round that had nothing but bad reviews .

I left the store and did a search regarding the quality of the specific ammo and it was very poor,

I then called back 15 min later and explained what happened and a gentleman named Steve said sure bring it right back in and he will upgrade.

Go figure when I walked back into the shop low and behold little miss chubby rude lady was all up in my grill with her poor attitude the moment I walked in .

I couldn't even finish my explanation regarding the ammo upgrade before she opened her rude mouth with pretty much oh hell no we don't return ammo.

Luckily the Steve guy over heard her and shouted he just bought that ammo 10 minutes ago and yes we will upgrade for him.

Walking to my bunker now!

Dream Gun

Most recently I purchased my dream shotgun from Keith's at a gun show around the holidays. I pride myself in being more knowlegable with firearms than the "average bear", but I somehow managed to tweek the magazine tube during the initial assembly. Maybe because I was like a kid on Christmas Morning? Possibly. Anyway,Keith stood by the product and didn't make me feel like a total idiot. He sent the gun to the manufacturer for repairs within a timely manner. Thanks again, Keith!

Ignored, finally left

I have been in there a few times and always felt ignored. They have a pretty good selection but it isn't worth my time to go in there with cash in hand and wait forever. They at least could acknowledge your presence and say "I'll be with you as soon as I can" if they are with someone else. Clearly, they are not in need of maintaining customer relations. This last time was just that: the LAST time. I was completely ignored until I finally walked out. I tried making eye contact with every employee and no one would come to get what I needed off the wall. Maybe since I'm a woman they figured they were wasting their time. Save your gas and time, and go somewhere that they actually want your business.

good/bad/ugly

Well i went to this gun shop to purchase some weapons. Keep in mind i am ex junior Olympic rifle team an ex military man who was expert with the m-16 and raised by a gunsmith. Yes they have a great selection but the worst customer service i have ever experienced. the help is rude and condescending. I had 3000 cash in my pocket and they treated me like i didnt know anything about guns. I would submit i know more than some that work for keith, If i were you i would go to NW Armory where they know how to treat people and have good prices and selection.

Awesome inventory/Busy but helpful!!

One of the better gun shops in the portland metro area. These guys are always busy, but when it's your turn they always are extremley helpful and spend the time that you need. I try to shop at other stores and always find myself going back for the fact that the always have what I want at a very copetative price. Oh...and the Gun Room sucks, shop at Keith's !!!!

Selection is good but not the people

Keith's has a great selection of guns and etc. but when it comes to customer service they are awful. I went into their store and I asked them if I could see a Taurus .22 semi. They showed me it and I asked two associates what the trigger pull was. They said "I don't know". I asked them "Why do they not know, your selling guns aren't you suppose to know about them?" and one of them gets snippy with me and stated "We have a life and we don't stay here and learn about guns." When he said that I was shocked. I then went on to ask if they have a chart with the specifications or a box with the specifications on it. They stated "We have over 4000 types of guns and we don't have time to check it all out just for you." At that point I told them I'll never come back into this store again especially if they have no knowledge of what they are selling and because of that they must have crappy products (Probably why its so cheap there in the first place.) How can you work at a store and now know what you sell? I am not going to go back there and I would rather spend more money and go to a place where the associates are way more pleasant to deal with.
