My good friend brought her child here for about a year. At first, she raved to me about this daycare. She loved it to say the least. However, about a month ago her son started asking not to go to daycare anymore. When pressed for a reason he would just say "Lisa is mean".. My friend asked Lisa what was going on and she just said he had been in time out. So she let it go.. Until he persisted that he did not want to go there. She began looking into other daycare facilities but in no rush to move him, as she was unaware that Lisa was SPANKING her child, against Oregon state law and (obviously) without consent. Horrified when her son finally told, she immediately asked Lisa, to which she got a response of "of course not".. With pressure and notice that the child would be going to his grandma's house until they were able to speak about the issue thoroughly, Lisa admitted that she had had a "bad day" and "love tapped" the child on the rear! No wonder he had been saying things like "Lisa says she does not like me and is mean. I don't want to go to school anymore.." This woman was trusted to educate and care for someone else's pride and joy. She is the role model in which some children, including this child, form their first opinions of adults outside if their home and what "school" is! Shame on her!! And to then excuse her actions with "I was having a bad day and couldn't handle him.." No lady, you crossed the line! This is disgusting! In my opinion, she should be bent over and spanked by someone 4 times her size and see how much she enjoys it! This child now says that he does not want to go to school (at another facility of course) because they're "mean".. I can not fathom why it would ever be appropriate to spank another persons child, because its just NOT! If you value your child's safety and well being, I would absolutely never trust this woman!!! Not even to watch a slug or a plant grow! Again, SHAME ON HER!!!!!!!
