this place used to be the best

the rolls used to be the best. now they are different hard and smaller. the good used to be much fresher. the servers don't take any pride in their appearance! really disappointed! I've tried it a couple times recently and they've been bad. complaining doesn't help. I've asked for the manager when my order was wrong and then the bill was wrong and he didn't even offer to compensate us in any way for the bad food! It's called customer service and they have lost it. I miss the glory days of this restaurant!

Nutty, Laid Back Joint!

What a surprise! Our first time visit was a hoot! Just toss those peanut shells on the floor (or at your neighbor). It's all part of the fun at this bar and grill. Actually, it is very family-oriented, judging on all the kids eating there. And the proportions are huge. Whiskey-glazed Tri-Tip, the mesquite-grilled choice sirloin, and the Whiskey River Salmon were all hits. The wait-staff actually giggled when our eyes bugged out at the huge Baked Sweet Potato. Service was great, the atmosphere friendly, and the prices pretty reasonable, considering the porportions, the variety (your choice of two sides from a list of ten), the unlimited soft drinks, and steady supply of yeast rolls with honey butter, and of course, peanuts. Our cost; $20 per person w/o alcoholic beverages. No need to dress up for this night out. But do plan on having a lot of fun and leaving with full stomachs.
