Bob Rossbach Principal and owner, Bob Rossbach has more than 25 years experience managing and producing national television and other large media projects, managing outreach and media relations and developing new funding sources and business. His clients have included non-profit agencies including the Michigan Community Coordinated Child Care Association, Southwest Solutions, the Michigan Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment Board and the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation as well as private businesses such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Powerlink Facilities Management and CrimeCog Technologies. While working as Vice President of Education and Outreach at Detroit Public Television, he directed the project, The Whole Child, A Caregiver's Guide to the First Five Years, an Annenberg/CPB course that has become one of its most-used resources as a college course and training curricula for child care resource and referral agencies. Rossbach directed the production of the course, and then developed a national outreach project for early childhood caregivers using the resources of colleges and universities, childcare resource and referral agencies and public television stations across the country. During his tenure at Mort Crim Communications, Inc, Rossbach was the project director for The Learning Classroom Theory Into Practice, a video-based college and teacher professional development course based on the work of Linda Darling-Hammond, Charles E. Ducommon Professor of Teaching and Teacher Education, Stanford University, and funded by Annenberg/CPB. At the same time, Rossbach was co-executive producer of a 13-part national public television series, Better Investing. He also developed an interactive glove-box DVD for General Motors which incorporated game-like activities as well as instructions for operating the first OEM in-vehicle DVD entertainment system. While he was Vice President for Corporate and Foundation Development at Detroit Public Television, Rossbach led efforts to close the station's largest corporate underwriting deal in at least a decade, and the largest corporate underwriting for production of a local series. Through a 17-year career, Rossbach was responsible for close to one-hundred television programs distributed nationally to public television stations through PBS and other distributors and funded by more than $2.5 million in external support a station record. Programs that Rossbach produced or executive produced won more than 20 Michigan Emmys and many other awards. Rossbach is very active in school and church projects. He has led four youth mission work camp trips to southern Kentucky and five adult missions to New Orleans since hurricane Katrina. He is also an enthusiastic multisport competitor a former Michigan age-group triathlon champion in the Olympic distance, member of a nationally ranked triathlon team, four-time marathon runner and a Great Lakes sailor. Rossbach has sailed 19 Port Huron to Mackinac races.
