We were very disappointed by this place. We only see my in laws a couple times a year and we like to show them the best of connecticut. The food was very bland and cold. The waitress was nice but she had too many things going to be totally helpful. The 2 stars are for the food, not the help. It wasn't the waitress fault things were crazy. There are better places to try in the immediate area

Service was great but my meal never saw the oven. Rec'd complimentary app and dessert but could not wait for meal to be redone. My wife was done and we had another engagement to get to. Chef dropped the ball. Maybe I should not have ordered from the specials list and stuck with the basic menu. Pretty poor for a New Year's Eve with the place only about 25% full.

Our group was there as part of a Pfizer retreat and we were treated to one of the best experiences of the year at this restaurant, Our servers were smiling, young and energetic, the level of food totally blew away our expectations. We were there this past December and I was looking for the website of the fisherman to get some information about a rehearsal dinner for my daughter and I stumbled upon these horrible reviews. I don't know what happened in the past, but they certainly have a hidden gem there. I personally can't wait to go back!!

This was the worst service I have ever recieved!!! Our waitor never smiled once, he was flat and impolite. My tartar sauce was that yellow/clear color it gets after being at room temp too long. One entree has to be sent back because it was ice cold (afer waiting 40 minutes) The second time it was brought back to the table the fish was raw. All of the food fair at best. Absolutly no winners and no desire to ever go back. Bad service and bad food.
