My wedding cake was not only delicious but turned out more beautiful than I pictured. We didn't stop getting compliments, HIGHLY recommended!

Would just like to say that i was extremely disappointed with this cake that i purchased for my husband's 40th birthday. First off, I wanted a BLACK cake, not red and blue, not white and black lettering, BLACK. This is not what I picked up. Second, when I called to tell them that the cake is not what I wanted the owner refused to admit any fault in the misunderstanding, saying that that was indeed what I had ordered and that there was nothing wrong done on their end. Finally, Look at the quality of this cake. When you walk into their bakery you see these gorgeous, very high quality cakes on the walls. Well, this is EXTREMELY below par for what I though i was ordering. When I took the cake back to receive my payment back in full, the owner did not apologize or even agree that this was a very poorly decorated cake. I mean they spelled FORTY wrong! and this is supposed to be a professional, high quality cake place. But according to the owner, I "only payed $32 for it". ONLY. So, if you are thinking of ordering a cake from Capital City, just know that if you are expecting the quality of those that are on the walls... well you will be very disappointed.

Grove City has been waiting for a great cake bakery for years. Our wait is over!!! I'm happy to say that Capital City Cakes has far surpassed our expectations! My family stopped in to see what all the hype was about and we were not disappointed! The place is adorably decorated, with a vintage ice cream parlor feel and the service is outstanding. Every customer who walked in was greeted with a friendly hello and thanked as they left. The cakes slices we purchased were so moist and delicious. I can't wait for our next event so I can order a whole cake! Welcome CCC! We will be back and we're telling all of our friends too!!

I have found our new favorite bakery for cakes! A week ago we had our grandson's first birthday cake done here and we absoutely loved the moist and delicious cake. We then ordered our son's 15th birthday cake from here. They went over and beyond on the cake decorations. They did a great job and the cake helped us bring back a favorite childhood memory for our son. We will be ordering all of our cakes from here here from now on...I'm already planning our daughter's 19th birthday cake in a few weeks!

Capital City Cakes does a fabulous job of creating cakes from your idea! I found myself in a time crunch for a cake I was going to make myself for a birthday party! I contacted Capital City Cakes and told them my cake idea (a cake that was tie-dyed inside, using all different colors of cake mix to create it) and they went with it and surpassed my expectations! To top it off, they delivered the cake! Definitely the best in the business!

This bakery is the best, the service is friendly and spot on, the cakes are DELICIOUS. Ordered a Buckeye cake and a coconut cake, they were both so good. Have ordered many birthday cakes, the bakery will work to do any kind of cake you need and they are alway fresh and very very good and you can't beat the prices.

Recently my family surprised me with a 70th birthday gathering. My daughters gave them one of my young school pictures. They put that in the center of my cake surrounded with beautiful flowers and the yummy frosting. It was beautiful to look at and very delicious to eat. Their cakes are very moist and fit for a king. Once you eat the cakes that they make you won't order form anyone else.

Capital City Cakes has some of the best cakes I have ever had! I know the owners very well from church related functions and have tasted the cakes first hand. they mae great cakes for weddings, graduation parties, baby showers, birthdays, etc. They are great people with great hearts. Thye enjoy serving others and helping to make each occasion you may have very special. They cakes are very moist and fresh and the icing is simply delicious! For your next occasion, get a cake from Capital City Cakes. You won't be disappointed!
