Contrary to the negativity of an earlier review, I simply feel that this is the best family medical practice (from checkin to checkout) that I have encountered in the 23 years that I have lived in the Pensacola/Gulf Breeze area.
I feel that Dr. Anita Westafer is a top-notch practitioner who has successfully diagnosed every medical issue that I have ever discussed with her. Her extensive knowledge of specialists in Northwest Florida has always enabled her to provide me with excellent referrals. And if she had not caught my rising Hemoglobin A1c in time, I would surely be a Type II diabetic today.
Dr. Westafer's attention to detail is first-rate. If your exam does not start on time, I guarantee that this is solely due to the fact that she is performing a thorough exam of a potentially serious issue with another patient. And I 100% confident that she will provide you with that same level of care. I feel nothing less than extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Westafer and her staff.

This office is the worst Doctors office I have ever visited. I have been coming here since I was a baby, but in the last few years, it has gone way down hill. I have had many of times where I have waited 2 hours to be seen. Lately I wait at least an hour to be seen. In the last two years I have waited 2 hours twice. At one point they had timers in the office and when 15 minutes was up and the buzzer went off, they stopped and your time was up. The front desk staff is rude and they seem annoyed if they have to help you. I have never been so disappointed in my life with a doctors office. They are always messing up my orders and always have me coming back in for more and more visits costing me more and more money. It seems as though they are trying to get you for your money these days. Beware before you set up an appointment. And if you call, they say "And if you feel as though you MUST speak with our office staff, press 0" That in itself makes it sound like they don't care about your well being. And since they merged with Sacred Heart, it has become an even bigger hassle trying to deal with them. Wouldn't recommend this office to anyone!
