Provided by YPmobileI personally havent brought my dogs up to this place because I have heard nothing but HORRIBLE stories! Dogs dead, mistreated, abused, not cared for, not fed or given any water. I cry everytime I hear a story about this disgusting mans business and I hope for the sweet puppies sake that this business gets burned to the ground and the owner gets trialed for all the mean and cruel things he has done to his customers and their babies.

Provided by YP.comMost people who right reviews are unhappy . I am not this type of person. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. The pice is very reasonable. I have been having my pets care for by Paws Here 1st for a number of years . Our dogs are our kids, we would never let any one we don't trust care for them.

Provided by YPmobileOn August 15, 2013 I took my 11 year old yorkie to Bob to be groomed and received a voicemail from him like it was an everyday occurence and with no compassion or regret that my dog was dead. He admitted to Animal Rescue and the vet that he left her alone for 5 minutes teethered in the tub. She died due to his negligence. Please do not take your babies here. Our pets are our children and should be treated as such. I do not want him harming any other animals. Justice will prevail. Please help spread the word and protect other animals.

Provided by YP.comI have a friend who used to work for this guy. Very creepy and looks like other reviews think the same thing. He has no compassion for dogs whatsoever. When dogs are there, they get no water or any potty breaks. He uses a scrub brush on them to bathe and if they have fleas, he uses dishwashing detergent. OMG, talking about bad for the skin! If there is any issues with a dogs behavior, he will not hesitate to keep it muzzled all day. Seems to me a dog could not breath well under those conditions. Some of these reasons might be why he has so much employee turnover. If you ask him for a tour of his place, look at kennels and bathtubs, not very clean!. This is why the state should regulate pet grooming and require strict licensing.

Provided by YP.comThe owner has NO people skills at all. Therefore
it makes me wonder how the animals in his care
are treated.

Provided by YPmobileThe owner is great! He has groomed my dogs for three years now. He is polite, gentle with the dogs, and charges a fait price. What more do you need? Ignore bad reviews.

Provided by YP.comThe owner is VERY rude. He was very irate with me because by 2:45 I hadn't picked up my dog from them yet. I called them at that time from Pensacola to ask what time they closed so I could either get there to get her myself..or have my husband pick the dog up. When he answered the phone, I told him who I was and asked him what time he closed.. he "became very forceful and abrupt" with me and told me I had to pick my dog up NOW! He wanted to leave by 3:00....I of course could NOT get there in 15 minutes so I asked him what shall I do...and he yelled at me "JUST COME PICK YOUR DOG UP!". This man has NO set closing time posted...nor has a written policy regarding it. All he states is when he's done with the dogs, he leaves. But expects the paying customers to read his mind...tele'pathically I suppose as to when that will be?? When I tried to explain my situation and that I was sorry, he would abruptly stop me and interrupt...but give me dirty looks when I tried to speak my mind. I would HIGHLY NOT recommend this place for your dog. He's very arrogant and treats paying customers with NO respect at all.

Provided by YP.comThe guy who owns this shop and is the greeter is very rude and seems to be an overbearing "know it all". He won't take appointments, boasts that he had been in the grooming business for years and acted very put out when I asked why I could not make an appt. He insisted that I just bring my dog in first thing in morning and would be ready 5 or 6 hours later. When I first went in, he just grabbed my dog to take it to the cages. It really startled my dog and scared her and he just said "she'll get use to it". I did notice there is no water in cages for dogs. I asked him if I could have a tour of the place. He reluctantly showed me around and I noticed the bathing tubs were nasty, hairy and smelled. There was also dirty cottonballs on the floor. I did not get a good feeling at all. The haircut was okay but my dog was doused with perfume. I was not asked if I wanted perfume and had to go home and bath my dog again as I have allerggies. Her toe nail had been cut too short and still had some blood on it. I will never go back there. My dog seemed not herself for several days after. My neighbor said they had had a similar experience there too, that their dog had razor burns to the stomach and private areas. He may be cheaper but definitely not worth it for the dog's sake.
