Called Biloxi PD twice to report a pitbull puppy Living in a small kennel on the front porch of a home. This puppy has been living in this wire kennel for a week. The porch is small so in the bad weather we had this week it got soaking wet. Biloxi PD sent an officer out who looked at the dog and said it was fine. I don't know how this officer could come to that conclusion when the kennel is so small the puppy can't even sit up straight and it's water bowl was turned over and empty for several hours. I'm sure the officer wouldn't want to live in the equivalent of a closet. Apparently Biloxi PD doesn't care about animals!! Or maybe they just don't care because it's a pitbull. But if it were barking at someone they'd for sure be out there having something negative to say! Hey Biloxi PD have some compassion and be a voice for the animals who are being mistreated in your jurisdiction. I am VERY disappointed that I tried to help an innocent animal and Biloxi PD just blew it off!!
