Provided by YP.comI can understand and even sympathize to a degree with the challenges faced by physicians and support staff, organizing high volume patient traffic, managing multiple patients with sometimes very complicated medical diagnoses. However, a proficient medical team is one whom arises to the challenges they face on a daily basis, as it varies from patient to patient; regardless of age, complication, previously diagnosed conditions, arduous treatments, and likely prognoses.
Now, as for the numerous doctors and select medical staff that have embroiled themselves in my grandmothers case; they undoubtedly, should not be licensed to practice anything with relation to the medical field, particularly considering that you or your loved one's life is stuck in the balance. Completely failing to physically document reasonable comfort measures requested by the family in a face-to-face meeting with the assigned physician while another physician was present to witness is completely baffling. And then, entirely disregarding those requests, leading to physically and emotionally neglecting sensible treatment for an elderly woman in evident respiratory and emotional stress, approaching the end of her life is utterly incomprehensible. And should merit some form of reprimand, in my opinion.
And before anyone jumps to defend the doctor's reasoning, don’t. I have a medical mind that evaluates every factor, intrinsic and extrinsic, as well as conditional physiological function. And of my inference, there was no logical, or sensible excuse for the medical staff's actions. When confronting the staff, we only received a contrived vindication, which was dismantled quick and deftly. These physicians are passive, apathetic, and overall incompetent in the diagnosing, treating, managing, COMMUNICATING, and LISTENING to and with their patients.
Throughout my abbreviated stay and experience as a relative of a Memorial Hospital in Gulfport patient, the most accurate way to describe my first-hand observations is one of an apathetic, indifferent medical staff that performs their duties niggardly and perfunctorily. No patient should ever have to endure or tolerate Memorial Hospital in Gulfport's level of inferior, callous, distrait care.
The only reason I GRACIOUSLY granted this organization ONE star is because of an outstanding ICU nurse who went above and beyond to make sure my grandmother was comfortable while she was on CMO orders.
Overall, I wouldn't bring my sick pet here. This branch of the Memorial Health system is nescient, insouciant, and haphazard. Do yourself or your loved one a favor and find a different hospital.

I have been Over BILLED SEVERAL times and even Sent to a credit bureau for THEIR mistakes!!!!! I am tired of dealing with Memorial Hospital's lack of professionalism and mistakes!!! My health is important to me and I rarely go to the dr. I want to warn others to stay FAR FAR AWAY from this hospital, their Doctors, or any of their Outreach clinics!!!!
