Our Son is in the Navy and stationed in Gulfport, Ms. We stayed at the residence Inn for 4 nights back in Oct. 2008. We were able to get the military rate of 80.00+tax a night which was fabulous! The staff were very helpful, the hotel was only a few months old at the time, so it was nice and clean, we had a 1 bedroom with a full kitchen w/ dishwasher, so I was able to cook my son's favorite meals while visiting him. Very "home like" feel, table and chairs in kitchen couch and recliner, computer dest in living area! Nice Modern Decor.Full laundry room(downstairs), Plenty of places to eat and shop and still close enough to get to the Navy base in a few minutes! We will be staying there again in Feb. 2009 for our next visit, oh I forgot to mention the wonderful buffet breakfast!
