The best doctor I have ever encountered

Laser spine surgery resulted in sddiction to drugs supplied by my primary care doctor and pain doctor who told me spine surgery did not work. 6 years of pain and disability. I saw because after a good friend kept talking about him. He reconstructed my L45 and I am pain free and off medication after 6 months.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Kimber for fixing my son's back. His quality of life has improved immensely and he has no pain. Dr. Kimber took excellent care of him and was there when we needed him. You cannot go wrong with this man.

Dr. Kimber stands hands above any doctor not only in his specialty but in his totality as a physician. He did a 4 disc fusion on my husband which without he would have become a cripple living in a wheelchair. From the 1st visit he diagnosed the problem which was confirmed by the tests. His ability to relay the information about the problems and the solutions was outstanding and gave us a sense of relief in two areas. One, we knew he understood the problems and had the necessary solutions. Secondly, he had the skills and history of performing the surgeries which gave us the confidence we had chosen the right doctor for my husband's situation. As we have continued through this journey he has kept us well informed so we could understand exactly what was happening and answered whatever questions we had no matter how many or repetitive they became. His office staff is top notice. Sheila and Kim are especially unique in what they do. Not only do they keep the office and patient needs taken care of with precision but unlike anyone we have ever been in contact with - they visited us at the hospital. Now that is real family. Speaking of family - Dr. Kimber's office is run efficiently, with attention to deal and sometimes the appointments ran over a bit. This is due to Dr. Kimber spending the amount of time necessary to care for each patient and his/her family member(s) needs - something we appreciated. We weren't hurried out the door because there was a line of patients waiting, something you rarely will find these days. From day one we have been "part of the family" and for this we are extremely grateful. Dr. Kimber has made my husband whole again. By the way, he is just over 80 and is anxious to get back to playing golf. The physical therapist Dr. Kimber assigned for home therapy was superb and now he is doing outpatient rehab. He is out practicing in the yard, can't wait to hit the driving range again and then on to rejoin his group of guys. Dr. Kimber "guarantees" us the fusion and the equipment will last 50 years - but he can't guarantee Steve. If you or anyone you know has a spine problem in the Gulfport, MS area, Dr. Kimber is your man. We will be forever grateful for what he has given back to Steve - a life without pain, the freedom to do what he wants without the physical limitations and no longer having the wheel chair waiting in the wings.
